The human behind AURESCENT approaches work as a photographer, working as a multi-media artist, and freelance stylist based in Detroit, MI. LM's earliest memories are cutting out paper dolls and watching Creature from The Black Lagoon, and these themes have pretty much continued through their current day work.From creative direction to post-production, Li is hands-on and dedicated to bringing visions to life for clients and their own practice. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for art, they are always pushing boundaries to create something truly unique and captivating that leaves their clients wanting more. In their practice, they source sustainable styling, creative lighting techniques in and out of studio, and paintings inspired by Old Hollywood femme fatales, classic album art, poster design, and fashion illustration.
